LOCKED HOME MONITORING SYSTEM
Our neighboring state has implemented the locked home monitoring system in past few years. It was successfully maintained by police and also reduces the burglary incidents in his states. In that system has a controller and a data connection modem used to communicate the incidents happened in the locked house and monitoring in a centralized location round the clock by the police personal. The same type of projects is described below,
Objective of the Project:
The house owner has been intimated the schedule period of non-availability of persons in their house to the control room. The police person visited the house and also installed a device with internet connectivity. That device has a Motion sensor (PIR) , Laser trip wire , IR camera ,Power backup and Microwave sensor and all these sensors were connected with the controller unit. The PIR sensor used to detect a IR signal , whenever the person entered inside the house this sensor detect a IR signal which is emitted by our human body then send a signal to the controller. The Laser trip wire has installed at the front door of the house, IR camera has installed inside the house and facing towards front door.
The accused entered the locked home the laser trip wire send a signal to controller and at the same time IR camera captured a image or video. That captured image or video was directly transmitted to the control room. Then police person immediately intimated to nearby beat officers to attend the incidents and also capture the accused on the spot.
I) Components required for in house controller:
1)Rasberry Pi Zero w , 2) RPI IR camera CSI mount camera, 3) Passive IR sensor, 4) Laser light with reflecting mirror, 5) 5.25 GhZ Microwave sensor, 6)32 GB Micro SD card, 7)4G wireless modem.
II ) Components required for Control room:
1)Server with sufficient storage, 2) Static IP internet Connectivity, 3) Power backup

Configuration steps for in house controller:
Step 1: Download Raspberry pi imager tool from http://raspberrypi.org website using windows PC. This tools used to burn the raspbian os in the SD card
Step 2: Burned SD card inserted to the Raspberry pi Zero w SBC board and configure wifi settings
Step 3: install python3 dependencies and check python3 is running correctly.

Step 5: Configure takesendphoto.py script run on start up.

Explanation of takesendphoto.py script:
Whenever the intruder enters in to the house, laser trip wire or PIR sensor connected with GPIO 4 is activated. At that time IR camera take a photo and send to the control room server same time that image also send to a telegram app.
Configuration of Server in control room:
A Server with sufficient backup storage and power back up is required at the control room. That server loaded with NAS server software (i.e., Nextcloud or Openmediavalut) and create a separate folder for each in house controller to store the image of the intruder. After receiving the image from the controller, notification or popup is arrived so the control room officers get alerted. They will intimate to the nearest beat officers to check the locked house condition. In control room static IP internet connection is must to configure the VPN connection between the server and the in house controller.
Another way the GSM gateway may be connected with the in house controller , it will give a call to the control room phone or send a SMS to the mobile number whenever intrusion occurred in the house.
